Welcome to your new church home!

Attending church for the first time can be intimidating so we created this page to walk you through all you need to know. Use the dropdown box below for all the info you need. We’ll see you Sunday!

For as in one body we have many members, and the members do not all have the same function, so we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.”
Romans 12:4-5

  • Where do I park? - Parking is located behind the church and handicap parking is located at the front and side of the church.

Where do I enter the church? - You may enter through the back doors under the awning that reads “Groesbeck Church” or via the handicap accessible entrance on the Colerain Avenue side of the building which leads directly to the Sanctuary and Fellowship Hall.

Are my children allowed in the worship service? - Yes, all ages are welcome to worship together during our services.

What do I wear? - Groesbeck Church welcomes all people to come as they are, however many traditional service attendees wear business casual clothing and the contemporary service attendees usually wear a range of clothing from business casual to jeans.

Am I required to give money? - At each service, an offering is taken, however we open our concept of offering to include not only money, but also time and acts of service as a way of giving back. Any amount of offering is accepted, but there is no expectation to give.

May I take Communion? - We have an open table for Communion that allows all people to take part in the celebration of bread and cup but we do not require anyone to take Communion unless they feel led to do so.

  • We have two worship service options on Sunday mornings. Our traditional worship service runs from 9:30am-10:30am in the sanctuary and includes music from a Hymnal, an organ accompaniment, a choir, liturgy, prayer, message from the pastor, and Communion.

Our contemporary worship service runs from 11am-noon in Fellowship Hall and includes a full band with various instruments, singers, prayer, a message from the pastor, and Communion.

  • On Sunday mornings we provide Sunday School experiences for all ages. During both the traditional and contemporary services, nursey and toddler care are available for newborns to four year-olds as well as Sunday school teaching time for four year-olds through 5th grade students in the downstairs level of the church. Sunday School is available for 6th-12th grade students during the traditional service out in the CHAOS Modular building across the parking lot. An adult Sunday School class runs from 8:00am-9:15am before worship service begins in the downstairs level of the church, as well.
