The Prayer Team’s mission is to pray regularly for the staff, ministries, and leadership of Groesbeck Church; to develop opportunities for individual and corporate prayer; and to create opportunities to connect the congregation and our community through prayer. Generally, the team meets every other week and is always open to new Prayer Team members joining.

The Discipleship Group Ministry was born out of a desire to help train and lead people of Groesbeck Church to be true disciples of Jesus Christ in their everyday lives. Groups are gender based and individuals are encouraged to be open and vulnerable about their walk with Christ and life experiences in meetings. Initially, groups all study the book, Discipleship Essentials, and then move on to Bible studies and other book studies.

Each quarter of the year we collect and donate loose change from the offering plates to help support a ministry or non-profit in Cincinnati. This past year we donated to Life Forward, Kairos Prison Ministry, Groesbeck Youth Ministry, and an upcoming church mission trip.

This is a 3 day retreat housed in Ohio prisons similar to an Emmaus Walk.  Besides being on a team that ministers in the prison, cookie donation, money, prayers and posters are needed on every walk.
